What should I know about slab leak repairs?
Repairing a slab leak typically involves locating the source of the leak, which may require specialized equipment. Once the leak location is determined, we access the leak, normally by jackhammering through concrete and digging down to the leak. We then make the repair to the pipe and confirm the leak has been fully repaired (with video and photos). Then we refill the hole and repour the concrete. Depending on the severity, repairs can take a few hours to several days. It’s a good idea to consult with a professional to understand the costs and whether your insurance covers the repair.
